There is nobody else in the world exactly like me, having experienced all the things that I have. How could there be?

I mean, take a look at these stats:

I have a set of parents, three brothers and one sister, three sets of grandparents, a husband, two children, three sister-in-laws, nine nieces and nephews, and even a great-niece. I’ve moved 18 times, lived in 20 houses, in ten different states and three countries. Throw in holding 15 different jobs and there is absolutely no way anybody in the world could even remotely be qualified to be me.

Nope, not with those stats. 😂

And I bet you have a similar story to tell. Then why do you not think you are special?

You are!

You have experienced things nobody else has. You have hopes and dreams that nobody else does, in quite the manner that you hold them. Your family, your friends, your home, your travels, your hobbies…all these things make you YOU.

It’s easy to not feel special. I think it happens to many of us throughout our lives. But I want to reiterate to you that you ARE indeed special. You have gifts to offer those around you. You just don’t realize they are gifts. And why not?

You don’t even realize what you do is magical. ✨ You think everybody can do what you do. Let’s say for example that you are empathetic, that you can put yourself into another person’s shoes, understand their feelings and emotions. This comes natural to you, so you don’t give it a second thought. But everybody is NOT like this. It does not come natural to others, and it is a gift.

Perhaps you are outgoing and friendly and make others feel happy just by being in your presence.  No big deal, right??  Nope, everybody is not like this!  Trust me. This is a gift.  Your gift.  You need to embrace that this is a quality that makes you uniquely you and is a gift to share with others.

You have a magnetic magic about you.

Don’t be afraid or selfish (which is what you are doing when you don’t share your gifts) …go ahead and share it, share you, with the world. 🌎
